"Participation is the key, and no amount of physical activity is too little. I believe in physical fitness and sports as a way to improve our quality of life, both mentally and physically. In dealing with injury, the body has amazing recuperative powers, especially when we believe in ourselves and we see ourselves achieving our goals. I see examples every day of people overcoming great odds and doing things someone has told them they will never be able to do again."
